How long is show?

Our Bootleg Blues Brothers show runs for either 75 mins of pure non-stop fun, or 2 x 45min sets

How much space do you need?

The absolute minimum space the band require is 3m wide by 2m deep for the two piece version. For the 5 piece version we require 5m wide by 4m deep, and 6m wide by 5m deep for the 8 piece. However these areas will be very cramped and with the speakers so close together the sound will also be compromised in general, with a much higher risk of feedback. The more space you can give us, the better the show will be, with more room for us to dance on stage, and the sound quality maximised due to the the speakers being further apart.

Where do you perform?

Jake & Elwood travel all over the UK and Europe, bringing the party wherever they land.

Can we see you perform live?

Due to the nature of our work, we don't play many public gigs as all of the events we perform at tend to be private parties or corporate events. We try to offset this situation by making sure we have plenty of promotional material, including lots of live recordings. If you want to follow us on Facebook, any last minute public gigs that do come in will be promoted on there

Are you able to DJ between Sets?

Yes this an upgrade option. Our own Jake Blues is also a DJ and Karaoke host. Music can be played from the start of the evening, in between sets and after the live set until the end of the evening. The starting charge for this is an additional £200

You are welcome to use our PA system for your speeches so long as they happen after we have set up.

Can we use your sound system for speeches?

Does the band have PAT certificates and PL Insurance

How is it best to time things?

The bands performance times are important in making your evening flow properly, and we are totally flexible with this, although we prefer that our performance doesn't happen at the same time as the buffet or anything else you may have planned at your event. We also recommend that our second set is timed so that we play for the last hour of the event, as the dynamic of the performance works really well in this format, and creates a finale effect at your party.

Typical timings are as follows -
Arrival 18:00 to be set up and sound checked by 19:30.
Background/DJ music from 19:30 until 20:30.

Buffet from 20:30 until 21:00
Live set 1 from 21:15 until 22:00
Background/DJ music from 22:00 until 22:45
Live set 2 from 22:45 until 23:30

DJ music from 23:30 until midnight
